Dolorosa SinagaSupervisor Chief

    Dolorosa Sinaga graduated from the Jakarta Arts Institute in 1977 and then continued his studies at St. Martin’s School of Art, London, Karnarija Lubliyana, Yugoslavia, and the San Francisco Art Institute and the University of Maryland, USA. As one of Indonesia’s well-known sculptors, her works feature many issues of faith, crisis, solidarity, multiculturalism and women’s struggles. One of his works that can be enjoyed by the public is the Monumen Semangat 66 on Jalan H.R. Rasuna Said, Kuningan, South Jakarta. Dolorosa manages and leads the Somalaing Art Studio in Pinang Ranti, East Jakarta.

    Dolorosa is one of the founders of the Koalisi Seni Indonesia, and currently holds the position of Chief Supervisor.
