After pursuing the world of theater during her childhood and adolescence, Adinda Luthvianti joined Teater Bel Bandung in 1982 where she acted as an actor and producer. From 1994 until now, she has been a producer for exhibitions featuring the works of Hanafi artists. In 1999, Adinda founded the Studiohanafi Community, a creative space that accommodates the creative process of young artists from various disciplines and circles through various residency programs.
Studiohanafi is still running today, and has developed into two different organizations, namely Galerikertas, a fine arts gallery that focuses on the regeneration of artistic methods, and Teater Anak Studiohanafi, a children’s and youth theater group that actively performs on competition stages in Jakarta and its surroundings, including winning the best script, directing, and group awards at the Children’s Theater Festival at Taman Ismail Marzuki from 2012 – 2014.
In 2015 – 2018, Adinda became one of the organizers of the formation of an arts and culture ecosystem in the new expansion area of Tulang Bawang Barat, Lampung, then from 2016 – 2020 she became a member of the Theater Committee at the Jakarta Arts Council.
Adinda is also active in conducting research and collaborating with academics, choreographers, and writers. In 2021, she conducted research with the Institute for Research and Community Service of Atmajaya Catholic University under the auspices of Mobile Arts for Peace (MAP) entitled Informing the National Curriculum and Youth Policy for Peacebuilding in Kyrgyzstan, Rwanda, Indonesia and Nepal. In 2022, she became a dramaturg for Hartati’s work entitled Jarum dalam Jerami: Tribute to Gusmiati Suid, in addition to assisting a number of young choreographers in conceptualizing their works.
In 2021, Adinda became the Chair of the Jury of the Jakarta Theater Festival, then in 2022 and 2023 she became a member of the Jury of the Children’s Theater Festival. In 2023, Adinda again became a member of the Jury of the Jakarta Theater Festival.
From 2022 – 2023, Adinda became a member of the Advisory Board of Taman Ismail Marzuki, and in 2023 she acted as a curator for the Djakarta International Theater Platform by the Jakarta Arts Council Theater Committee.
In addition, Adinda has also been appointed several times as one of the assessment teams for the proposal for the Indonesian Fund of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, the Program for Utilization of the Results of the Cultural Endowment Fund.
