Hafez has been a researcher with Koalisi Seni since 2014. Now, he is the Advocacy Manager who carries out policy advocacy programs such as overseeing the preparation of the Law for the Advancement of Culture and its implementing regulations, the establishment of the arts endowment fund, and the review of the Music Bill. After graduating with a law degree from the University of Indonesia, Hafez immediately joined Koalisi Seni. He then completed the Master of Law program at the University of Indonesia with a specialization program in Human Rights and Governance. Hafez likes music, sports, and reading Wikipedia, and often cycles alone around Jakarta in the early morning.
